oh man, it's been so long since i could post! this rules. it'd be cool if we could access more than just the message boards and the catalogue though

hey, so, speaking of which, if a book is in the catalogue, that means its supposed to be here, right? the book i'm looking for isn't on the shelves where it's supposed to be, so idk if maybe someone checked it out? it's called "Proud Immortal Demon Way", author's name Airplane Shooting Towards the Sky. it's preeetty long (multiple volumes) so it'd be hard to miss on the shelves

oh it's a cultivation novel! also a harem novel. the protagonist is a half-demon badass on a single-minded quest to reign supreme over all 3 realms while also charming & seducing countless beautiful wives. it had a pretty big readership when it was being serialized!

uhh i wouldn't really call them "springtime adventures", it gets pretty dark later on.... and it didn't have any official illustrations in it, no, but there was a lot of cool art drawn by fans!

hahahaa well not really a luxury in his case i don't think! pretty sure it was his only job and it didn't pay as much as you'd think. the arts really are undervalued you know? anyway who pays attention to details like how much ink he went through or how many revisions, the important thing is that he was prolific, and that is an achievement in itself!

and ok i wouldnt say like, ARDENT, but i do think some of his critics are too harsh. some people have way too much time on their hands, you know?

Ongoing? Not really, though some authors write multiple novels, of course. As for having time to read, or the money, that's more recent, I suppose. More like being stuck in a place with nothing to do but read or dream particularly vivid dreams.

What do rogue cultivators do? Wander roads and solve the sorts of little situations they run into, experience the local foods and, more importantly, the local wines!

oh uhh it really only works as a whole name, actually, but i think airplane is probably cool for short. and i wouldn't say it's like, my favorite or anything, but who doesn't love a good adventure-drama? demons are pretty cool but not like a must, i'm just a connoisseur of the xianxia genre

it's not a gardening thing, it's more like spiritual cultivating? basically, it's magic ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ if you like heroes you'd definitely like xianxia & cultivator novels. daring deeds, trials of loyalty & honor, sick magic fight scenes, flying on swords, the works

nah, its totally safe if you know what you're doing. it's a qi trick, you use spiritual energy to kinda stick your feet to the sword, it's not like you fall right off. kinda like magnets? kinda like skateboard, but on a sword and in the air. i'd show you how it works but my sword is locked up in one of those glass cases for some reason idk

hmmm any specific stuff you like in hero stories? theres a lot of variety out there in the cultivator world, i bet there's something you'd like
